How To Market Your Credit Union

I don’t know how many noticed my last post. I added a new cateory. We now have a “How To” section. YAY!

Ok, this might not be too exciting but take a walk with me for a moment.

Something I have noticed over the years is that some folks don’t really respect what we do. I know, it’s hard to imagine, but it is true. This is very common in the creative industry as a whole. Think about how many people you know that really believe in their heart of hearts that they could write a novel? How many people know that they could make a better TV show or commercial than what it out there already? How many people think that we get paid to draw pictures all day or make junk mail? By my little unofficial and very non-scientific poll - A LOT!

We all like to think that we can do anything. That you are just that one idea away from a million-gazillion dollars. The truth is less flattering. Like the song says “Sometimes we need a little help from our friends” to get on. So, that being said and put to rest, I am happy to present our “How To” section. There is only one post in there for now but I have a lot of ideas.

I will be posting some simple “How To’s” for you, my friends, to help you get on with your marketing madness. Some will be tutorials, maybe a video or two, maybe a vocabulary ist of some new industry terms, maybe just a few good ideas I want to pass along.

I figured that since we are here doing this blog thing, we should try to make our corner of the world a little more comfortable. So we will be serving up some warm and chewy “How-Tos” with a cold glass of milk (or scotch) to make your life and job a bit easier.

If you have a topic that you would like for us to hit on like “why are designers so temperamental?” or “What questions should I ask when interviewing a creative for our in-house design department” send us a message at info@andermahrketing.com. I would love to hear your questions plus it makes my job a lot easier!
